All New York area coffee lovers are cordially invited to our next coffee event. Thursday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m., come to the Tasting Room at 264 Elizabeth Street for a session of mind-blowing Ethiopian coffees.
I brought back samples of 12 of the top 24 coffees from the Ethiopia Limited competition. We will be cupping these coffees, as well as preparing a few french presses for leisurely consumption. This event is especially geared toward green coffee buyers and roasters because the coffees on the table are available for purchase through the Ethiopia Limited auction. But all are welcome. Come learn about the project and how you can participate in the auction. Baristas, shop owners and consumers are welcome too, of course. There is no charge, but an RSVP is required, because I expect to fill up very quickly.
On the table, we will have six washed coffees and six sundried naturals. All these coffees were scored 85 or higher by a panel of international judges in Addis Ababa last month. The lots they were pulled from go up for sale in the auction on June 5th. Between now and then, your only chance to taste these gems is next Thursday at the Tasting Room.
Send an me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to attend. See you there.
